In the 1930”s there was a wonderful (if somewhat silly) movie with Marlene Dietrich and Gary Cooper called “Desire”, which chased a gorgeous piece of jewelry through several reels. The jewelry, sets, and actors were so beautiful, you gaped in suspended belief, like now!!!!
